Collection: Unsteady

Unsteady began in 92 when John Roy left a few other projects to focus on creating a fusion of all of his favorite music styles in one group. He brought favorite covers and songs he’d written over the previous 5 years as well as new tunes. Like all ska influenced bands, Unsteady has had dozens of players. John’s longtime friend and collaborator Kevin Hewitt came on board in 94 and they’re still making music together! Ska, rocksteady, swing, boogie, reggae, salsa , calypso, soul- it’s all in there!
